Telegram New Update:Now Users Can Import Whatsapp Chats to Telegram
Telegram's latest update has a migration tool that allows users to bring their chats to Telegram from WhatsApp and other messaging apps. Telegram's 7.4 update to Android includes this migration tool.This feature was provided in the Telegram 7.4 update for iOS, but the next update, 7.4.1, reportedly omitted the migration tool.
Here's what you need to do to bring a chat to telegram from WhatsApp
●Please update your Telegram app first
●Then open WhatsApp
●Open the chat to be brought to the telegram.
● Open the three dot menu at the top right
●Click More. In it, select the Export Chat option
●Select Telegram from the options that open up.
●Then the telegram chat list will open
●WhatsApp Chat Click on whose chat you want to import into
● If he does not appear in the chat list, search for his name in the search box at the top and click on it
● In the next window, click on the Import button.
The new migration tool will allow you to switch to Telegram without losing the continuity of messages in WhatsApp chats.
But one thing to note- chats brought from WhatsApp should not be imported into the chat with another person on the telegram. He can see all the messages in the imported chat.
